Happy holidays to everyone. Speaking of holidays, due to a conflict, the DEARS Christmas Party date has been changed. The new date is Sunday, December 13 at 4:00. The meat will be furnished and everyone is asked to bring a side dish. Women bring a $10.00 gift for a woman and men bring a $10.00 gift for a man. The DEARS nor the ELKS had control of the conflict, things happen and we make the best of the situation. A sign up list will be on the kitchen door and we ask for your support as the dinner is open to everyone.
The DEARS voted at the November meeting to donate $250 to the needy family program.
Jeri Bretches and Ginny Moore have been making scarves and lap blankets for the nursing homes.

Dates to remember:
December 6 DEARS will meet at 10:30 to prepare supplies for the nursing home to be delivered.
December 6 Memorial Service 12:00 with lunch to follow.
December 10 Gala for Cancer Research at Loch Lloyd Country Club See Ellen Dougan or Connie
Tiehen for tickets. Our own Otto Sayles will be master of ceremony.
December 12 Hoop Shoot 9:00am at Martin City School.
December 13 DEARS Christmas Party 4:00, Lodge invited.
December 19 Kids Christmas Party 2:00, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present.
Don't forget to order you Scotch Eggs from Arliene Sayles. They will be available for pick up December 24.
